Central Washington University: Member of Western eTutoring Consortium’s OWC

Central Washington University is a regional comprehensive public university founded in 1891 and grants undergraduate and graduate degrees in-person and online. It is one of six state institutions in the state of Washington and has seven campus locations. The OWC uses eTutoring, which is a service of the Western eTutoring Consortium, a network of talent made available through the pooling of resources from participating institutions in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Wyoming, Texas, and Utah.

Walden University: Writing Center within Academic Success

Walden University is a fully online, for-profit, public benefit (B-Corp) university with broad-access enrollment. Currently, the university’s 52,000 adult learners are from all 50 U.S. states and more than 150 countries. Walden’s Writing Center is also fully online and is situated within the University’s Center of Academic Success alongside the Library and Academic Skills Center. Students are supported via asynchronous paper reviews, short answers via live chat hours, tutorials via the website and blog, instruction via live and recorded webinars, and presentations at in-person residencies for doctoral students.
